Super 8 is a vintage video format from the 1960’s, transporting you to the footsteps of bygone humanity.

We are super 8 wedding videographers capturing your nostalgia. Life’s imperfections pair perfectly.

First, behold the Backyard poster children of the year

Annie and Dustin tied the knot in their new home in Washington, set in the idyllic and uncommonly gorgeous backyard of their freshly-acquired house. Laughter commence, celebrations rage, tears ensue.

behind the nostalgic curtain

The nitty gritty of Super 8 videography works a little (a lot) differently than digital video. When we shoot, we load the cameras up with rolls of 8mm film about 50 feet long, which equates to about 2-3 minutes each. You’re right, that’s not lot, which makes the format pricey for longer captures. But when utilized carefully, we gather enough content to create two super 8 wedding videos for you.

We make sure our cameras are thoroughly film-tested and reliable, seeing as most of them were manufactured decades ago. We still keep a handful of backups in the trunk, as we hold ourselves to the same dependability as though it were digital. Extraordinary videos deserve extraordinary care, so we ensure every aspect of the process is ultra-secure.

We don’t make digital wedding videos, and we don’t want to.

Super 8 yields a distinctly old feel that defies whatever decade it’s exposed to, so it’s a perfect compliment to the film photography we offer.

We also use it in our own life, or at least whenever it’s appropriate to aim the thing at something memorable.

We wager you’d like us to point it at your memories, too.

Nightcap: Sky high celebrations

Kiki and Doug said “I do” at over 11,000 feet at their favorite, most-visited campsite with their closest people. We tagged along and tossed film at it, which is - chef’s kiss - the right move. Buckle up, press play, and summit with them.

Hot damn! You’ve reached the rock bottom of our Super 8 page. Maybe try one of these:
