For weddings of all sizes, when I show up to your wedding expect to see me with a slew of cameras and bag full of film. Your wedding, immortalized on analog glory.

Up to all day documentation, as many rolls of 35mm and 120mm film as it takes to capture it all, a fat stack of ‘roids (Polaroids), Alexa + second photographer to personally stalk you with cameras, and an online gallery to view, print, and share your plethora of photos, and more.

I love our gear and film like family, but unlike family, I have favorites. I’ll usually reach for the reliable Canon 1V, Contax point-and-shoot, or Polaroid SX-70. My go-to film stocks are anything that looks good in whatever light I’m shooting in. You can always count on me to have the good stuff: Kodak Portra, Ilford B&W, and an array of others.

Up to all day documentation, as many rolls of super 8 film it takes to capture it all; film processing, development, and scanning; two videos- preview reel and home movie; Alexa + second filmmaker to personally stalk you with cameras, and an online gallery to view, download, and share your videos, and more. Preview reel. The first bit of super 8 footage you’ll see from your wedding day! It’s short, sweet, shareable, and under 1 minute.
Home Movie. This is every single shot we took on super 8, color-graded and organized in chronological order. Other videographers/photographers call this the raws- we call it the Home Movie.

While I hate saying no, sadly this isn’t something I offer. But there’s a bright side! If you record your own audio, send it my way and it’ll be creatively weaved into your Home Movie (in the most non-cheesy way possible).

Obviously the music of your film should be something you love, but it also has to be available for commercial license so I don’t get sued. Whatever your vibe is, there’s a song out there to fit it. I’ll personally dig through the internet to find a song you love, and you can either choose from my curated collection of options or you can be surprised (I prefer surprises, but dealers choice).

Film Photo & Super 8

This is for the folks who are all-in and want an all-in kind of experience. You’re speaking my love language.

Buckle up for the best of both worlds, buckaroos. You’ll be getting everything from the two packages above, in addition to:
Day-Before Celebration Coverage on film and Super 8 (typically for rehearsal dinners or parties, but open to your off-the-wall ideas)
Print collection of 15 artist curated images, printed on handmade, deckled-edge Italian paper. Each print is museum grade and archival quality, so it looks just as vibrant in 100+ years as it does today.
Coffee Table Book that’s as inviting and unique as it is archival. This is my take on the traditional wedding album - each book is meticulously designed to reflect your unique personality and style. Image curation, album design, and photo layout is included for up to 40 pages. Sample images to come soon ;)

Alexa shoots photo, and Alex shoots Super 8, and sometimes we do a little bit of both or bring on a 3rd photographer or assistant so we can make our best work. We’ve been doing this for 12+ years combined, and are well-versed in all of our gear and mediums. You’re in the best hands 🙏

I can’t speak for you, but documenting your wedding with both photography and video is the most comprehensive capturing of your wedding day possible. A photograph captures significant slivers in time, and a video documents the feeling of floating from one memory to the next. I’d love for you to watch your wedding day and print it out too. Not just because it’s a service we offer, but because I also loved it for our own wedding day.
how do we reserve our date?
Send an inquiry and tell me what you’re getting up to. We’ll chat over Zoom for a wee meet and greet/information FAQ sesh, and afterwards you’ll receive a custom quote for eeeeverything you’re interested in. If everything looks good and you’re ready to book - a 25% retainer (which goes towards the final cost) and signed contract is all that’s needed to lock in your date. Huzzah! You’ve secured your wedding day documentation!
the process
Approach to Documentation
I do my best to merge creativity and journalism into a single craft, which is something that ebbs and flows depending on each couple and each event. Some couples love to get crazy and strange in the artistic approach, and others lean into the honest documentation of their event. I can lean into either, or both.
At any rate, it’s important to know that I’m not a wedding factory. I get to know each and every person I work with, because knowing you better helps me do a bang-up job when it’s go-time.
Photography and videography help us savor our present moments; moments that shape us, and moments which we might have forgotten otherwise. We often romanticize our memories. Photography is the time machine that brings us back to them.
Booking, planning, & beyond
First, stalk this website and find me on instagram (if you haven’t already). Feel free to get familiar with the work you see. It’s ok to linger.
Second, if you can see yourself in my work, then I’d be pleased as punch to hear from you. Send me a message here and let’s schedule a time to say hello and get to know each other. I’m eager to hear about your wild and wonderful plans, dirty deets and all.
Third, booking entails an online agreement signed with a deposit. Each package can be paid for in a variety of payment plans depending on the shape and size of your event.
Lastly, once your date is booked I will periodically touch base to stay aligned on your plans together. I’m happy to extend our planning skills if you need, but either way I’ll be prepared to show up and do a damn good job.
Super 8 Process ☞
Fear not, we’ve got a solid plan of attack for super 8 videos. When you book for super 8, I dedicate as many rolls of film we need to capture the full story of your day - beginning to end.
On the day-of, I use an army of vintage cameras that are film-tested and maintained to today’s standards. One thing I will mention is that the cameras can be noisier than a modern camera (think old silent movie film spool sounds).
Afterwards, we develop, scan, and edit your Super 8 film and transform it into a time capsule you’ll watch and rewatch for years and years.

My books are open! Because I give my full attention (and sometimes muscle damage) to your lovely shenanigans, I only book 15 weddings per year.
If I offered any more, I wouldn’t be able to hold myself to the standard you expect. By keeping my number of bookings manageable throughout the year, I’m able to operate at my best, which is what you deserve.
